Wolf! Wolf!

Luke earned his Wolf badge right after we moved to WA.  He did most the work in OR and finished up right before his Bday.  So one of the first pack meetings he got his wolf.  Yeah Luke, you did it!

Miss Lydia

Lydia is now 15 months!  I still can't believe it.  She has grown so much and is such a joy to have in our family.  One of my favorite times of day is getting her out of her crib in the morning!  She just wakes up happy and kind of plays around and talks to herself until we get her.  She is such a good kid!

Lydia loves to read her books and read with us.  If it is quiet she is almost always in her room looking at books and just going through them all.  

 Lydia is still scooting everywhere, she can crawl if she wants but always insists on the scoot.  Because of it she hasn't stood or walked and is now officially developmentally delayed.  Oh well, I am not worried about it.  She just does things her own way on her own time.  

The other day I found her cleaning with a dish towel...so cute and warmed my heart.  

She loves to think she can write too.  She insists on holding paper and a pen or pencil and pretends to draw or she actually does.  At the grocery store she has to hold the list and pen...always! 

 She tried a swing for the first time...and loved it!

 She LOVES, LOVES, LOVES her binki, she always has it.  Once she gets more teeth she might have a rude awakening.  She is finally getting 8 teeth....AT ONCE!  Ahhhh!

 

 Lydia loves her meals too!  She licks her plate clean...no she really does lick the plate! The only word and sign she knows is "more."  

She does throw a fit when she doesn't get her way...look out brothers!  She is a sweetheart and we love her so much!  She doesn't say much either, she likes to point and grunt, but we are working on it.  Love this girl to pieces!

Road Trip

Last year Jared challenged Rees to read the Book of Mormon.  As incentive to read he promised Rees if he read it before football season he would take him to a BYU football game in Provo.  Rees jumped on that and finished in July!  So Jared and Rees headed to UT on a road trip to see BYU vs. OSU game - how appropriate - his two almamaters. 

They scored tickets with the rest of the family and had lots of fun! Rees loved that his two boy older cousins came along.

It was suppose to be a blackout game where everyone wore black - even the players, pretty cool!

The boys had fun and hung out with family and stayed with Jared's parents.  Here is a banner that his mom made of all the acts of service people gave to her while enduring chemo and cancer treatments. Wow!

Rees had some fun nights with cousins and loved every minute!  This is him on the way home and Jared said he pretty much didn't move the whole way home.  Tired boy.

Rees took a self picture - what a thug!  So proud though, and so happy they were safe and had fun!  Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!  Especially Jared who drove for 20 hours!
