So we have been busy busy the last 2 weeks. We had lots of family come through Oregon and visit us. My parents came first and we had fun spending some time with them. They brought my nephew which the boys loved. We went to a small chocolate factory and tasted some chocolate and had ice cream at 10am - awesome! This is the group sitting outside the duck pond. The boys were taunting the ducks. (what did you expect?)
We also went to see the play Music Man which was really fun. What ever happened to good old live entertainment? We watched movies and played. We also went to the local Bounce house which the boys loved, and I did as well. We got some video of grandma going through one of the bounce houses. No pics, I forgot my camera. More grandparents came to town, Jared's parents. It was fun to have them. Everyone came for Rees' baptism. Redding cousins came and the boys had fun playing with everyone. This pic is of Darin's first experience with a GoGurt, his cousin gave it to him and he wasn't quite sure how to use it. Look at the floor as well.
Everyone left from that group and Jared went to Utah with the Reddings to visit with his family. My brother and wife and family came the next day. It was fun to see them and visit with them. The boys had fun once again with a new set of cousins. To top off the crazy week Rees had Cub Camp all week, which he loved. So after seeing my brother off we headed to the end BBQ and shot some bb's and ate and played. Then it was on to planning Luke's Bday party. What a jam packed couple weeks.
The morning of his actual birthday my brother and his family were visiting. My sweet sister-in-law had decorated the house with balloons for him and had a big present waiting for him. That was so thoughtful of them. We had a big breakfast for him and he got to open some more presents. We then headed off to Cub Camp BBQ for some fun. We shot bb's and played. We then picked up pizza at his request and rented a movie.
The next day was his big Spongebob Birthday party. We had a krabby patty relay race, Spongebob trivia, sponge relay games and the kids got a go in the jellyfish fields catching jellyfish. We had spongebob cake and opened presents and played outside on the playground. It was fun. I can't believe he is growing up so fast. Happy Birthday Luke! We love you!
