They then split into two teams again and went on a Lego scavenger hunt. I hid the clues in the neighborhood and they had to do different things to find the next one (math problem, map, decode, etc. ). In each clue were some legos that they had to keep and at the end the last clue told them what to build. They then got there goodie bags on completion. I think the boys had fun. It was a little difficult at times but they finished. We then had cake and ice cream and presents. Rees loved the fondant off of my cake from my birthday, so my same friend Denise made him a Lego cake with fondant. He was super excited!
On his real birthday he helped with the family to clean the church building (keeping it real) and played with his presents all day and rented a movie to watch. We can't believe that Rees is 8! He is such a joy to have and such a helper to our family, we love you Rees!

That was a creative fun sounding party. I loved the human size legos. That's nice that you have a good friend who can make awesome cakes. Happy Birthday Rees!!
